for the zürich baroque festival, performed on 23 march 2026 at kunsthaus zürich. when bach wrote the second movement of his orchestral suite no. 3 some 300 years ago, he placed at the end: s.d.g. – soli deo gloria, “to god alone the glory.” the performance consists of an arrangement of this piece directly in front of sylvie fleury’s neon text be amazing. an imperative that speaks to all of us. what was once reserved for god is now demanded of the individual. following this shift, air for sub brings a familiar piece of baroque music into a bewildering present. with: mira tyrina, mandolin, laura-maria drage, costume design and benjamin gaschen, stage design & documentation.
connecting two landline telephones in different locations through an unusual dialogue: each utterance must be louder than the last, otherwise it gets suppressed. thus, the conversation escalates relentlessly.

on the furka pass. an algorithm detects the word «wow» via a hidden microphone. every time someone says «wow» on the viewing platform, loud engine and car sounds are played from hidden speakers beside the road.
